Echo Cancellation

The purpose of echo cancellation is to remove the repetitive sound in the telephone conversation, caused by the telephone network. The network causes a delay of about 1/4 of a second, which will cause that the end user hears his own words not exactly when he talks. This is called self-talk or echo.
