Percent Allocation

Percent allocation is a contact center term used to describe the distribution of available resources to handle a proportionally equal number of inbound calls and online chat sessions with customers. The human resource or contact center agent involved can be divided into direct and indirect contact personnel. In order for the percent allocation formula to work, the customer calls and online chats must be tracked in real time.
