Open Ticket

Open ticket is also referred to as an open queue or waiting line. It's where a new call or service request comes into the contact center via a customer contact channel, such as the telephone, internet chat, or social media. Within customers, it is sometimes called the "queue" or "wait line" and is viewed suspiciously by some.
