The term compliance, as used in the contact center industry, means that agents at the contact center have been properly instructed on how to handle specific customer interactions and that they have thoroughly understood and clearly documented these interactions. Also known as knowledge management, which ensures customer service representatives adhere to the company’s standards so that they pass any internal audit – also known as an audit trail.
