Local Area Network (LAN)

A Local Area Network, or LAN, is a communications network connecting computers and peripherals within a limited area. A LAN can use either wired or wireless connections. Network topology is the layout of interconnected devices which can be wired or wireless and the design of complex internetworks incorporating multiple levels of interacting LANs.
