Customer Journey Mapping is the process of collecting customer journey outcomes and their associated characteristics. It enables contact centers to identify where they are highly successful in a particular type of outcome and determine what types of touch points may be responsible for achieving those results, in addition to identifying which outcomes matter most to specific customer segments based on their individual journey characteristics.
