Denial of Service (DoS)
DoS occurs when a customer makes one or more calls to a call center, thereby drawing resources away from active calls and thereby preventing other customers from being served. Denial-of-service attacks aren't limited to contact centers. DoS attacks can happen anywhere that a business has to field telephone calls.
