Prompt

A contact center prompt is a visual, auditory (sound) or key press message displayed on the physical or virtual channel between call center operator and customer. The exact meaning and role of a prompt can vary, but it's basically there to support the call-taker to guide the conversation with the customer in a way that will be most efficient and beneficial for both sides.
